Decree designating the diocese of Sens as an actor in the cause of beatification

According to the new rules for the causes of Saints whoever can be an actor in a cause of beatification. The important thing is that the arguments, based on the signs and the reputation of the blessed and holy future, stand, and that they thus show a clear will of God.

There is also the organizational aspect of the trial and its economic weight. Given that it was the bishop of the place who wanted the cause, it was natural that the diocese Sens-Auxerre is constituted, by a decree of the same bishop, the actor.
