First conference on Élise
This Friday August 24th took place the first conference on Élise. On several occasions, comments and explanations had been provided on his life or on his cause for beatification. However, there remained to begin the beautiful study of his spirituality. The theme chosen this year was that of the Church. If the theme of the Church may seem strange - because Elise never spoke of it, her words and her behavior suggested quite the opposite. Elise was a living witness to the Church as the Mystical Body of Christ, both in the hearts of children and in parishioners. The structure of the conference followed the teaching of the Profession of Faith, that is to say that the Church is one, holy, catholic and apostolic. The four stages of Church's spiritual evolution adapted very well to these fine qualities of the Church.
