A third witness for Élise
We met Mrs. Georgette LAJAMBE, resident of the Grégoire Direz residence in Mailly-le-Château.
Ms. LAJAMBE told us this about Élise:
- Elise was a very dear friend, four years younger,
- she was asthmatic: that's why she died,
- she was very kind to everyone,
- she frequently flowered in church,
- she prayed a lot;
- she was otherwise a normal girl.
Élise never talked to Georgette about a religious vocation, but all of her behavior led her to believe that.
