The theme chosen for this drawing competition, nature and joy, offers participants the opportunity to create works capturing the beauty of creation by illustrating the poems that sprang from the heart of Elise, whose motto was: “Smile at everything and everyone for the love of Jesus.”
This competition aims to raise awareness and celebrate the life of Elise Bisschop by highlighting her passion for the contemplation of Creation and creating an artistic space that reflects her love for Jesus, nature, and poetry. The works collected on this occasion may be used to illustrate any publication of the Friends of Elise Bisschop association.
Participants can draw inspiration from the landscapes of Mailly-le-Château/Trucy-sur-Yonne, the local flora and fauna, and above all, the deep joy that inhabited our poet, despite the trials.
Download the rules on this page for full competition details (in French).
