A spiritual heritageElise said ten years before her death, at the age of 28, in a letter to her spiritual father: “I would be so happy if this gave someone the idea of replacing me. Maybe that's what was needed deep down. As long as I'm here, no one will ever come forward. It would be so stupid if everything were ruined because of me.”
This humility, inspired by the example and words of Jesus Himself, is undoubtedly the reason why the Holy Spirit brought back to the forefront all the love for God and for others that Elise carried in her heart.
