Discovery of the statutes of the fraternity of the sick
We knew, thanks to Élise's letters, in what context she was linked to the Order of Saint Dominic. But what rule governed this group of patients of which she had just been part?

It was with a history research expert, Mlle Raphaëlle TACCONE, that we had the courage to go up to the stronghold of the National Library. With procedures worthy of an airport, you have to be motivated to devote a day!
If research in the Dominican review for the third order (today the laity) has revealed nothing compared to Elise, great is the joy of being before the statutes of the fraternity of the sick, published in one of the issues from 1963. We learn in particular that, although the brotherhood of the sick (its official name was "Our Lady of the Rosary") was still "ad experimentum", the wishes of the members were fully recognized. Élise is therefore truly a Dominican tertiary.
